Handgun photos - some more #1...>

I have to ask, has the empty brass in the third photo been tumbled? Otherwise you have to let me know which powder is that clean burning, it would save me a lot of cleaning time:D.

PzGren & Waterengineer - answers...>

PzGren - those empty .357mag casings are actually nickel-plated (Winchester 125gr Super-X JHP) and so they are silver in real life. In this version of the image I decided to colour them to look a little more like brass in order to separate them from the silver of the stainless revolver. No, they haven't been cleaned in any way. Sorry, no clean-burning powder secrets here :-)

Waterengineer - I applied a motion blur to the background only in that 3rd pic with the revolver. Why? Why not.

A little disturbing to the eye, isn't it? :-)

Thanks.

Collect watches too. Noticed you go to Time Zone when one clicks on your photos. I really want a Glashutte.
Great pictures of firearms!!

LawScholar - that is a Beretta 87 Target .22lr...>

...sometimes also called the 87 Target Cheetah, ( it is based on the same frame as the 'standard' model 87 Cheetah). The barrel has an alloy shroud that adds some weight to the muzzle end. Here's another view of the pistol.

Thanks.

Really great lighting Doogle. Can you tell me what setup you're using to get such great, even lighting? I know a bit about cameras and Photoshop but I'm a flash & lighting dunce so anything you can offer would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Oly
