Handgun photos - a little bit different...>

Doogle,

Nice pics.

That one of the .357 mag with the wisp of smoke rising from the barrel. I looked for a minute trying to see if you had subtly hidden some image of a death head, a ghost or something in there.

Great pictures. I went back and looked at the "ejecting" shell picture after reading the comments. When I first saw it, I thought the spacial relation looked right (shell to right side of gun). Looking at it again, I still think so but I wonder if using a shell larger than the "propper" shell would make it seem closer to the viewer. I think it looks great as is but it might be something to try.

Keep at it an keep sharing them with us.

The "BLAM" photo, my favorite, shows how we can eliminate the brass cleanup problem at the range. And the bad guy gets a a dose of sharp brass along with the lead.

Nice Work

Good composition, good technique and a bit 'out of the box'. As they say in the intellectual circles. I really do enjoy them.

But I have to add this: Do you realize there are no rifling marks on that fired round?

But...but...but... look at the dimples in all the primers in the revolver!!

VERY good photography, man.

While I'm personally not a fan of much post-processing, it definitely does have it's place in photography. And you use it well.

Kudos!

Those are great pics. I'd like to see a rocket thruster and some hot blue fire coming out of that one shot with the entire cartridge leaving the muzzle....maybe have the brass shattering and peeling back some due to the extreme speed.:D

Seriously, those are fantasitc shots.

Great job and far better than I could ever do. I was also a little puzzled by the inaccuracy entire cartridge exiting the barrel. Reminded me of Droopalong from the Ricochet Rabbit cartoon(Aw darn, it's a dud......BOOM!!!). Excellent imagination and my hat is off to you. Keep the photos coming!

very nice work indeed
although I'm shocked no one else brought this up
in the pic with the smoke coming from the barrel of the revolver there are no rounds in the cylinder. granted its a safety thing but photoshop em im
