1) HK USP Expert (How did they improve on perfection?)
2) HK Mark 23 (that was this year, right?)
3) Honorable Mention to the Steyr M40. A recent gun rag had a detailed overview of it, and from that description it would be the .40 I would buy if I were in the market for a .40. I like the fully supported chamber. It also looks neat.
