But you can save the money for Alaska souvenirs and still get your bear.
 
I'm confused. DougB, you are going to have a rifle as backup to the hunting handgun? I'm not trying to be a smart@$$ but if it was me I'd use the rifle first and use the handgun as a backup.

Also, I'd want the rifle in case of a situation, "Wow, I never saw Grizzlies around here before." :o :confused: :D
