I voted other, . . . I know what a .44 will do, . . . and what a .45 will do. And there really ain't much out there for a .40 to say it it better at other than being smaller.
Kahr whatever.
THe designs are all pretty similar. Whichever size meets your needs.
Used T9s and T40s are one of the best non-surplus firearms deals out there I think.
I want a 5-shot Ruger Super Redhawk 7.5" in 480 Ruger.
Very few 5-shot SRHs were made (all 480 Ruger), and I think they may have all been the very short-barrelled "Alaskan" model, but I really want a longer barrel, and the extra strength of the 5-shot.
Strictly for emergency use in the woods. Or plinking at the range.
Because we are busy actually shooting and carrying our pistols instead of looking at them and admiring the "details"
To the OP, all three pistols in your poll are excellent choices. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with any of them.
Try not to include "other" in the poll next time... even though it's obvious you want a .40 service pistol, people will suggest whatever they like best (e.g. revolvers, 1911s, 9mms ...)
