Hi all!

Please vote in the poll.

Important: The only thing to consider is the overall quality of the gun. Things like is it good for cc are not important at this time.

Thanks!

Xd hands down. Most proven and very reliable. I'm not a .40 fan but the platform is my favorite and I previously had the .40 before getting the 9mm version.

Didn't vote. I think it probably comes down to which feels the most natural in your hands. I don't know much about the Walther, so I'll remain neutral on it, but I feel the other two are good quality handguns and should serve you well.

Granted, the XD is a more proven design that the S&W M&P line.

The P99 shouldn't even be in this vote, it is a far superior gun to the other 2, if its the AS model then the trigger is far better and the ergos are way better.

Other, Sig p239, p229, p226. I only say those because they can be .40 like the rest in the poll.

Only thing to consider is quality?

Quite honestly..... these wouldn't even be on my list of the top quality handguns if that was the only requirement for this poll....
And the XD was totally outshined by the XDM to begin with

Kimber 1911
Springfield 1911
H&K USP pistols
Sig Sauer P220
And this doesn't include the high end customs available

Again.... quality only? not function? not pointability? nothing else? a bit odd.
And I carry a glock on duty, but I still would not consider it as one of the higher "quality" ones. When you say 'quality' I think of things such as fit, finish, trigger pull out of the box, etc etc.

Ask this question and get 500 answers, most of which are simply the personal preference of the responder.

What fits best in your hand? What shoots best for you? Glock, Springfield, H&K, Smith and Wesson, SIG etc etc all have well made reliable guns available. Not every gun will feel right in your hands or shoot the way you want.

MrClean- cannot have the XDm in my state I am pretty sure

and as far as quality...This just refers to how well each is made as well as how they perform. How is that odd??

Thanks
