Guns with the art/scrollwork

Just depends on how much money you have. Someone bought an engraved 41 magnum, with case hardening, for nearly 4k. He had the money, we had the gun.

Value for a gun is in the eye of the beholder. I have China that runs 150 dollars a place setting: Wedgewood, and, 35 dollars for a coffee cup. I LOVE drinking my morning coffee out of it. It's just for me, and, I enjoy it, period.

I like certain great wines I can't afford any more, and, my enjoying that does NOT require anothers presence.

If I had a double Purdy .500 Nitro Express, with exceptional engraving, I would not for one second feel any regret shooting the gun.

I have one. Came from the factory with commemorative artwork.

From NIB to range, same day. Have shot it quite often on a fairly regular basis; because I like the gun, and when I am focused on the front sight, don't seem to see any of the artwork or lack of.

Some of my friends have said that I should have kept it in the box, locked away in the safe. Well, once my time runs out that is not going to do me any good.

I buy guns to shoot them. I enjoy shooting them, the craftsmanship that goes into them, and also the different applications; recreational shooting, HD, SD, hunting... they are a tool that I enjoy using.

Use it, enjoy it

I have many, 4 or 5, and most I carry(not all at the same time), I have a $250. holster that I use, I have an Orange County chopper that I ride, I have a Rolex that I wear, I have a loving and beautiful Wife that I take out, and I have Children and Grandchildren that I show off. I am also OLD... so what's the sense of having something if you can't enjoy?

It Is The Personal Touch That A Person Wants In Life. It Could Be A Serial Number On A Collection Of Certain Guns.

Here's one that cost about half of what most people carry, and I've carried it every day since I had it engraved. I got it and had it engraved for myself because I liked it. I don't care if anyone else does or not, because I didn't get it to sell. I have Grandkids will be happy to get my engraved guns when I'm gone. They will get something that they can't go to a gun shop and buy.

My M&P daily carry has a few engravings on it and the factory stuff inlaid with gold. Nothing like what p97 showed but enough to make it diffrent.
