Guns in the house with Kids...

Michael, from a different standpoint -- kids, now 45, 41, and 39 years old. Always had guns around the house after we moved off base in 68. Daughter had little interest, boys shot. All understood whe something got shot, it bled, and sometimes died. No toy guns or bb guns in our house.
Grandchildren, up until this year, all lived in the same town where we live. All are in our home often, some daily. TV that teachs children that people are shot and not hurt.
Grandchildren are safety trained, and as best we can tell, gunproofed.
Today, only guns not locked up are on my person or under my control.
Suggest Ayoobs Gunproof Your Children. I have given away several hundred of these books. Take ALL of the mystery of guns away from your children. Make sure they understand what death is all about. You cannot hide anything from children in a home. Educate, expose the kids to firearms and safety. George
