Gun stolen, what to replace it with?

For a budget gun to tide you over that you aren't given up quality on look int the ruger p series. Such as the p89 or p95. They are a little larger but under appreciated quality. You can check out a web site called armslist.com. Could even see yours up for sale who knows. Also can't go wrong with a normal xd9.

A Polish P-64 in 9mm Makarov can be had for $200 or less. It is reliable, and concealable. I carry one as a pocket gun in an Uncle Mike's #2 pocket holster. Get a car vault, and keep it in the car when you travel if you can not carry at a place. Besides when you get a nicer gun it can be stored in there when you have to stow the gun.

If your gun had been in your pocket or in your fiance's purse they would not have been stolen. Moreover, if the thieves had been there when you got home they could have saved your bacon.

At least you still have your grandads old security six and your reloading equiptment. Florida is a top source of guns from the cars and homes thst were linked to out-of-state crimes.
Your safe OP says someone you know robbed you.

Ouch, I have felt the same anxiety when I let my father borrow my AMT auto mag and it was stolen from his house. I didn't carry it, because the gun is more trouble than it's worth, but the fact some reprobate might be thugging with it today is rather unsettling. To replace that gun, I will look into a Sig Mosquito or Walther p-22.

This is true, We left them because we were both gonna be on the base that day, They frown heavily on weapons on your person and/or in your car. It's just one of those things that we live with when dealing with a base town. But to solve that issue....

dave9969: Thanks for the heads up about tractorsupply, I didn't realize that they sold safes, so here's what I got.

I'm also a member of the NRA so I'll check to see if I ever activated ArmsCare....I really don't remember if I did.

OUTSTANDING choice
I think you will like that safe. I have looked at it several times.
My needs are a bit smaller, my gun safe is only a 10 gun model.
Glad I could help you find what you needed.
