Gun Shows: When is the last time you got a bonafied deal at one

Agreed, last gun I was at went around and made offers on several items I wanted. Got turned down flat, on a Sat. Went back Sun. right before closing and got all the items at even less than I offered on Sat. Deals are there but sometimes they will make you work for it
 
When Bill Goodman's Gun and Knife Shows left the Detroit area, the great deals went with him. I've had only decent deals since.
 
At least for the shows in the Houston area I've never found a "deal" for anything I've been looking for. Prices generally are the same or higher than retail prices in stores or online with ammunition being the worst. Also a surprising amount of non-gun related junk being sold at the gun shows. I will say that when building an AR last year I found a couple of hard to get items at competitive prices.
