Alright, Im convinced... It's definitely time for a "gun" belt.
Honestly, I never had any real intention of buying one... but if the price is reasonable and it really is that important to have one, then I dont have an excuse not to.
I really appreciate all the advice and will put everyone's recommendations to good use while checking around...
Dang, does this mean I have to buy one for work and one for regular carry?
For a more casual non-leather belt that works well for outdoor activities or jeans take a look at the Instructor belts from The Wilderness. Very nice and reasonable for what you get.http://www.thewilderness.com
+1 for the beltman. Great belts at good prices. I've owned a Ross gunbelt and it didn't compare to the beltman's. Keep in mind they aren't cheap, but you should get several years of wear if you take care of it.
You don't have to spend $75+ for a good gun belt. I have a awesome Leather/Kydex belt that I have been wearing for a long time and it is like new still. I think I paid around $40 for it. The difference is night and day and unless you try it you will never know.
I've got a Crossbreed gun belt that cost me $55. Very thick, 1.5" wide, it's a great belt. I don't know what another $35 would get you. Crossbreed is the same company that makes the Supertuck holster.
