Gots me a hunting dog

Yeah, their coloring is very similar, but he's from Rowlett, and we're asuming she's from around here in the Rio Grande valley. She was living under a house in a nearby neigborhood.

This is the day we took her in. She's gained about 35 pounds in the six months that we've had her. All her wounds healed up and her hair grew back. Even when she was in piss poor shape, she still had a sweet temperment. She's extremely loyal and protective of my wife. She looks mean, but she's a sweetheart. It only took about 2 days before my wife convinced me she needed to be an indoor dog.

Great looking pup Hedley, and kudos for taking in a rescue, looks like they'll have a lot of fun together and your wife will have good company while you hunt.

I feel your pain....here are a couple pics of the light of my life....:D

First one is the day I brought her home, the second one is her second favorite place to be, in the back of the truck. (First favorite is on the trail with her nose to the ground in high gear!)
