Got the CCW today

Can I let my daughter eat the Nachos, those things are gross :barf: > I have loved beef jerkey since I was a little and would always sneak it into the shopping cart if my mom took me shopping  I was usually packing then too (although it was a cap gun, or one that fired those spring loaded plastic bullets), I thought I was cool anyway.

what about Ohio?

Anybody know how long it takes in Ohio to get a CCW Permit after applying?
I will be turning in my application on Wednesday and I can't take all this waiting...

congratulations, I'm still waing on mine, it's been about 65 days since I applied. I'm in the good ol wayne county in michigan.

Congratulations on getting your CCW. Here in WI there is not legal CCW of any kind unless you are a peace officer. I'd take a six month wait over not having it all any day.

Hellbilly5000: Did they change the rule in Texas? I got my CHL in Texas in 2005 and the local government had a mandatory 30 days to process and 30 days to return for a maximum of 60 days to process. I got mine 39 days from when I sent it in.

WallyWorld??? There's no action there. Hang around the liquor stores in the bad part of town for some real action possibilities.

And it's a crying shame! I feel for ya...

Colorado CCW

I applied for my CCW here in CO just over a year ago. You go to the county Sherriff's office, fill out paperwork, get fingerprinted, photographed and turn over proof you passed the CCW class. Hand over a check for about $120 and wait! The CBI does a backgound, blah, blah, blah, and just over 60 days later I received notification my permt card was ready. Good for 5 years. Everyone very friendly at the Sherriff's office and business was good a year ago. I understand business is even better since last November and now the wait is more like 90+ days.

The WallyWorld carry map is fantastic! I summer carry a Ruger LCP in a front pocket holster. I've ordered a Crimson Trace for it and will have to get a new pocket holster. Winter carry is flexible- on cold days I could slip daddy's shotgun under all the layers and I doubt anyone would notice.
