Got my Orange SCCY in Today

The poster DAN-O does not even state it happened to him/her.

It appears something was jammed in the barrel or a squib load which caused the damage. It is hard to say from just those two pictures. We need more information prior to judging the pistol as the culprit. :(

I too would like to know what SCCY's response was to the incident.

Posting a picture like that on a major Forum without any clarification could be considered as slanderous in the event it is not the fault of SCCY. A Moderator might should remove the pictures and caution the poster.

Peggy, In all fairness I too own an SCCY pistol (black and silver) and must admit it is ok but not the most pleasant 9mm on the block to shoot, however, they have the best warranty in the business. My needs were the result of the safety model gouging my hand in recoil, a call to SCCY resulted in a new frame without the safety, totally solved my discomfort (changed it from an SCCY 1 to a SCCY 2) and took me ten minutes to make the change.
The exploded diagram pictured without any factual data is an intentional slam on the company and not where the blame belongs-------the person who caused the failure.

That's exactly why I took typing in high school in the 60's :D

Nice looking dawgs. I have two gunning dogs and one hearding dog. The only problem is my bird dog is a very liberal Starbucks dawg and is afraid of guns. :o
