Peggy I am so boring my most daring pistol is in fde Cerakoat. Makes the blue Beretta that I picked up today or the cool patina on my old Winchester 66 look 'like dull man'. Be sure to wear dark glasses while playing with that collection!

Don't post much on this board but always peruse it on a daily basis. And I always enjoy peggysue's posts and comments. Peggy, you take so much joy from your "hobby" and sharing that joy on this board brings joy to folks like me who follow your exploits.

And, thanks to you, I'm getting one of those orange suckers! Have a great Memorial Day!

Or a toy to look like a real gun. Time was, we all had 6- shooters that looked like Gene, or Roy's, or Hopalong's revolvers. At 6-12 years old, we had better sense than point them at a cop. Boy, have times changed.
Having "girls guns" reminds me of what a friend told me long ago. When I asked why in the world he took aerobics, dance classes, etc. -- he said "that's where the girls are". Seems he did a lot of out of class tutoring.

Holy smokes nice collection!

PS: you don't need any ancient bangsticks that maintain their allure cuz old coots (like me) can't march into the 21st Century.

Nice wallpaper.
Let us know if orange-colored pistols are safer or more accurate!

Seriously, though, I hear all sorts of opinions on SCCY, it's kind of like wheel-of-opinion. I'm curious to hear yours.

How hot was the load fired out of that pink SCCY? I ran an extended session of +P handloads to see what mine could handle (about 200 rounds). Besides a sore hand, all that broke was the flimsy stamped ejector. The gun still actually worked with it broken, I didn't know it was basically gone until I was cleaning it.

After replacing the ejector I totally trust mine for carrying on days that have high potential for getting roughed up. It's no S&W, Sig, Ruger, etc... but does a fine job for the price.

I was greatly surprised at how well the pistol shot and a number of others who shot it felt the same. Except .for a little stinging of the hand the pistol was not in the least unpleasant to shoot. My neighbor refuses to give it back and uses it for every day carry.
I mau just need another.....but sorry Peggy not in orange or pink.

I own a SCCY, had a couple problems with it. Most serious was the feed ramp on the barrel was polished a little excessive. This caused the brass to bulge excessively when fired, sort of like the Glock bulge...not good. I contacted SCCY, they sent me a new barrel N/C in a heartbeat, other problem was a magazine that gouged the brass horribly. No questions asked they sent me a new mag. That is what I call a good company that cares about its reputation and, product. I guess as with most manufactures things sometime slip by. SCCY is a A+ in my book.

Why do people want to blame a gun for something that is obviously not the guns fault? As is the case with the exploded pink SCCY pictured above. This is, without a doubt, a double charged or overloaded round. Not the guns fault.

SCCY

I'm glad to see others coming to defend the SCCY I have had one for several months almost a year now with about 1500 rounds with no malfunctions I carry it everyday. some people want to bash it because its new and its cost.. just because its not supper expensive does not mean its junk.. Who ever did that was clearly not using it for its intended purpose!! I would love to hear how they did it and if SCCY Fix's it.
