got another black powder

i have been registered as a user with gb for 13 years with the same e-mail acct, THEY changed THEIR policy and I'M the problem? the problem is not with me, the problem is these companies that do what they want when they want and expect us to fall in lock step for them. here is the deal i don't NEED their service, they NEED my money to stay in business... there are plenty of other auction sites out there and i have found one where so far i have made 2 purchases and have been very happy and my money spends there just fine... and gb is less one paying customer...

That's a bummer SB, when did this policy change occur?
I have never had to put up a card. When I tried to use my Yahoo email they asked for a card. I used an email on an inactive .com which I own, my account was opened. I was wondering if my account status had changed so I tested my account by placing a bid on an item where the reserve is not met. The seller has low feedback however. Any way here it is for the GB guys. 1960 Navy Arms Remmy.. It got me to lusting..

all i can figure is they changed it in the last 4 years (me old card was good then my new one wasn't...lol...)

nice piece i like it! and look that one doesn't say "black powder only" on the barrel either...

btw i'm looking for a set of grips, any grips for a remmy...

oh and the guy with the cimmaron aint biting.... he thinks he is sitting on a gold mine with that thing...lol... he told me he wants to get 200+ for it so he's gonna post it on auction arms...lol... wait till you see this thing... unbelievable...

GB, Looks like your email setting is set to receive member emails. I am constantly on the web looking for old Ubertis, even when I am not actively buying. If you would like, I will share what I find with you off the forum. If you wish, I will exclude GB listings.
Or I can just share it openly on the forum.

Good luck, SB. I have looked everywhere for a variety in Remmy grips. You saw what I came up with. They had nicer patterns....for Colts.
Unless I find something better I'll get the jigged bone. I'll hold out a while longer in hopes of more choices.

Making my own isn't really an option for me. Never tried whittling, doubt I have what it takes. I would order a replacement from vti first. Are the grips on your Lyman damaged or you don't like them? They look good to me.
I wish the grips were the same on both of mine. One set is almost like yours and one is a lighter color.

tim the grips are perfect, i just want something differant, i got this thing about personalizing everything i own (i'm sure you have seen the pics of my truck and bronco) i am actually thinking a very dark if not black stain but dont want to do it to the originals...

i drive a 1980 bronco, ride an 82 suzuki gs and a 78 nautiline houseboat, and also have a 2004 silverado, a 98 sea ray and a 02 vulcan.

SB, :rolleyes:You definitely have more toys than I,:o Nicer toys at that.:(But I do find some comfort in the following revision of an old saying; He who dies with the most toys....still dies.:p:p:p

and tim you have something i cant, kids... i would love to have a kid to play with my toys with me...lol... but i am and only child so sharing might be a problem...

SB, that boy is my heart; my only child. There's nothing in this world I love more. I removed his pictures from the forum. I noticed no one else had pics of their children posing with guns. The picture was so unique. I wanted to share it. I don't know if it was such a good idea having him on the web; had second thoughts.
