got a squirrel in my attic today

When I was growing up my dad shot a bat with a 22LR revolver. It got in the attic and shot it. It landed on an the wall and he shot it dead as it was perched on a board.

Moth balls keep critters out of attics and from beneath houses. They don't like the smell of camphor. Since the mothballs evaporate, replace every month or two.

Just had a bat in the house. Coming out of hibernation , I guess. I left the kitchen door open and he flew past it 3x. I did not want to kill it, but had to smack it with a cardboard box. I threw it out side and it was gone the next day. It may have only been stunned. Something got it I guess. They look pretty fragile. Had flying squirrels in the attic once, that is about all for critters.

Don't ANYbody feel sorry for that #$R@#'d squirrel...

The moth balls that Art Eatman mentioned also work in the engine compartment of your car/truck if varmints are tearing up your wiring.
