Got a littleish mulie buck

I lucked into a freezer clean-out wild game dinner with several families near Blountstown, Florida, a number of years ago. One of the treats was backstrap.

Sliced about 1/2". Rolled in a cornmeal batter that had a bit of mustard in it. Fantastically wondrous flavor!

Congrats Colorado!
What's the big white thing sitting 5ft behind you in the picture? Lol
Hunting gamelands in PA. If i shoot something, i'm humping it out over a mile.

Terrain kinda looks like the area i want to move to. Near Laramie, WY.

lol that big white thing follows me to whatever I shot and got down. I hunt almost exclusively private land, and the rancher lets me have free rein. I ain't humpin any critter back to the truck. This one dropped in a narrow gulch after 4 or 5 lunges up the side of the canyon. I did have to drag him about 15 yards. That required a cup of coffee and a donut to recover enough to get him dressed. :o Gettin old and fat. But I ain't hangin it up yet.

I love Wyoming. In the winter its cold and windy around Laramie, but 7 months of the year its nice. Less people = more better.
