I am very sorry to hear of the loss of another good man. My condolences to his immediate family and to you and your extended family.
 
Sorry for your loss. Bastards who let him go should be brought to task.
I hate reading about this stuff.
For the most part, the police are trying their hardest, and put their necks on the line for not enough reward.

As is the usual, a career criminal. I don't suppose we'll ever get it through our collective heads that when someone is on thier third, fourth, fifth, sixteenth crime they've pretty much committed themselves to that path. I'm not sure what people think the end result of that is. Just insane.

Damn. Let me know of any family fund you guys set up. The shift will want to support it. When we buried two officers this summer we had officers from Georgia, Michigan, and California attending, we'd like to return the courtesy.

To answer someone's question about donations, I checked, and they are taking donations for the family locally at various businesses, but there is no place to mail donations.....Thank you for the offer though.

Believe me, his family has a lot of support right here in town.

The funeral is tomorrow, and the county expects over 2000 Police Cars alone in the profession, and as many as 4000 officers present, including John Bunnel, of Fox's Scariest Police Chases series, who is supposed to speak.

Dan Jenkins was a regular on the Scariest Chases, and some of the craziest chases and apprehensions, he was directly involved in.

It will be the largest funeral assembly on record for Camden County and St. Marys Georgia.

St. Marys is the documented second oldest city in the US, second only to St. Augustine FL.

It will surely be a proud and sad moment in Camden's history....thanks for your support.

Why are the scum of the earth let loose, when we all know that they will repeat their crimes and why are people kept in jail for victimless crimes? there is something very wrong with this country.
