A friend of mine was killed Monday on a traffic stop. Shot twice from inside the car, and then the suspect got out and pulled deputy's Jenkins own gun from his holster and finished him off with shots to the head and neck with his service pistol.

All caught on camera....

Makes me sick!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that scooter71, wish it wouldn't have worked out that way. I'm glad they got the POS that did it. My condolences to you and his.
 
Jesu, what a waste! Add my condolences.

I'll wager this POS has an extensive record and was out on bail at the time.

If that is the case, I'd make that g*ddamn parole board carry the coffin and try to explain to the officer's family and friends why they let that scum loose on society again.

These people operate behind the scenes and rarely, if ever taken to task for their decisions.

I am so sorry. What a tragedy. Sends a chill down my spine.
My best friend was murdered on the highway right by the Jonesboro exit.
His last name was Jenkins also.

Sorry for your loss. My family's prayers are with his family. Another of our finest citizens taking away our best. :mad: The look on his smug face tells you that he doesn't care except that he got caught.

Yes, as C.R. said he was free on probation. I hope the judge that released him on probation can't sleep at night. Maybe he would like to contribute part of his income to the widow. :mad:

My sincere condolences. I have a friend (a policeman) that was shot as well... he is still in the process of recovering.

It's not easy...

Yet another case of a dirt-bag criminal, turned loose on the general public to commit additional crimes, that has taken the life of a good troop.

My sincere condolences. This is a loss to you and to his friend and family. But it is also a loss to every decent citizen (obviously, I am certainly not trying to compare the gravity of the loss). I am sorry.
 
Very sad news. The arresting fellow officers showed admirable and professional restraint. All better men than myself I fear.

What a waste! I will pray for his wife and kids.

I am both saddened at the loss and pissed at how it came about. I'm sure this guy passed a background check in order to buy the gun, right? Let's hope this POS gets the maximum this time and actually serves it. Can't imagine the DA wanting to plea a cop killer.

Scooter, I don't know what to say other than I am so sorry. Please let your friend's family know that there are many out here in the world who are praying for them and for his soul.

As for the POS, I hope you can get first crack at him.
