Good .22 Target Pistols?

I think the Walther pistol you have in mind is the GSP, not the GPS (unless they have a new model that receives satellite signals ;) ).

It's definitely a good pistol. For that kind of money, though, I'd look at the Hammerlis, Feinwerkbaus, Morinis and Pardinis before plunking my money down.
 
I own a High Standard Supermatic Tournament Model 107 Military. This model has a bull barrel. It is by far the most accurate .22 pistol I have ever shot. I have used both my friends Ruger MkII w/ the bull barrel, as well as a Buckmark, neither of which could even come close to matching the accuracy of my gun. Unfortunately getting accessories for a High Standard can be a bit of a pain. They are back in production (being made in Texas) however getting magazines is still a bit of a problem.
