Glocks Suck

Dennis is right. also, its just YOUR opinion, i love all of my glocks, yes there are a few improvements that can be made, and i shoot other types of guns as well, but glocks WORK ALL THE TIME, can't say that about every gun.

FWIW, i personally don't care about your opinion, and i doubt anyone else here wants to hear it either. guess your attempt at a flame war didn't work.

The only problem I've had with my Glock has been jams due to operator error (limp wristing when I was first learning to shoot it). Beyond that, zip.

I wonder if many of the complaints are similar to vehicle complaints. You could have ten people purchase a 2000 Chevy S10 (same mileage, same options, etc.) and receive ten different opinions. This seems to be the case with guns--choose your kind.

Sounds like JackFlash received a crappy Glock. Probably a few of you out there who've had crappy 1911s (flame on!).

Bottom line: What's true for one isn't necessarily true for all. There are many guns on the market. It's like a buffet, so go eat. Fix your own plate, but don't complain when you get what you paid for despite your shopping around and research.

"Plastic bullet dispensers for unimaginative cops."

Even after you have the trigger "worked on" it's STILL a long, mushy pull.

Yeah, drifted the sight on mine -- off the side of the slide.

Unsupported chamber: You can scribe a line at the base of your round where the feed ram cuts in. Then measure the depth of the web. Most guns' feed ramp doesn't cut past the base of the web. Glock does. Also, measure the diameter of the breech. Glock flares its breech to the max SAAMI specs. THAT'S what "unsupported" means.

Lots of mfg's don't void the warranty for shooting reloads. Lots of mfgs RECOMMEND not shooting reloads, but Glock is the only one I've seen that actually voids the warranty -- not just with respect to an incident caused by reloaded ammo. No, Glock voids the warranty FOREVER if the gun is EVER used to shoot reloads.

Anybody wanna talk about frame flex and "limp wristing" ???

Stainless is more rust resistant than a Glock.

Stick a G-30 in your belt and tell me it's small, thin, and easy to conceal. Grab that grip with the pinky floating and all the weight over the top of your trigger finger . . . and tell me that's a secure, comfortable, natural pointing grip.

Hold on, I gotta puke . . .

Nietsche was an idiot. Just My 2 Cents.
As for Glocks... well, opinions are like armpits - everbody has got some.

While no fan of Glocks themselves - I have owned my share and feel they offer some good things to go along with the less than ideal things.

Oh - and JackFlash... Be careful about trying to start troll threads... Nietsche may have gotten away with firing people up - but I only let that slide once.

FWIW, I resisted Glocks for about ten years after they were introduced. I scoffed at their frame material, complained about their grip, berated their ugliness--did everything except actually shoot one. Then for some unknown reason I bought a factory re-built G17 and took it to the range. Now it's love them Glocks! I still enjoy my Colts, Brownings, SIGs, and Berettas, but am also a confirmed Glockophile :D

Gott ist nicht tot, aber diese Faden ist.

Most of the "Glock vs. The World" or "The World vs. Glock" have very little redeeming value. And this one has even less.

I am glad to see that everyone handled it without rancor, but I'll close it before that can happen.
