Glock grip reduction- has anyone done it?

It definately wouldn't hurt to call Glock first and get something in writing as you suggest.

I was talking to the Glock armourer that I bought the gun from about this process. He was aware that a few companies were doing the reduction, but he didn't mention anything about voiding the warranty. It does beg the question though, why doesn't Glock offer the same service?

Glock is not going to give you anything in writing like that. However, if the modification has no bearing on a failure, Glock can't escape its warranty obligations just because of the modification having been performed.
