Hi Ron, I haven't found the secret to makin a shirt last that long, but took my first drivers test with a span of oxen pullin peeler logs. Always thought the 1911 was not all that bad fer an auto loader. Felt better bout em when folks started callin em semi autos, seemed to make sense as they did seem to loadem selves a goodly part of the time. But auto loader was a stretch then and still is.

When mr Glocks expirement has been round long as I been shootin, probably have the design pretty well finalized. I only been shootin in competition in seven decades, and Lord sho knows I an not right yet. Sides, what other gun can you slice up and make Glockworst sandwitches. Right handy survival gimmick there mr. Glock.

Sam....my favorite 9mm is a 9X32

Ron 1; I can remember just a few years back,
all of us in law enforcement circles were
taught how to disable a Beretta 92; while
still in the perp's hand's. A very
dangerous move; but most of us strong armed
guy's could do it. :D Beretta has since corrected the problem; that I won't post
here, in order for the BG's not to obtain
this information. All major gun manufacturer's make quality weapons; and
with that said, I personally like Gaston
Glock's creation's. I remember the year
was 1985, when I first laid eyes on a Glock
17. :) I thought that it was down right ugly;
and a piece of s**t. Little did I know that
it would soon serve a good majority of police
departments nation wide. :D Hell, I even carried one myself, at one point; and still
do carry a model 27 every day!!! All in all,
Glock's are what they are meant to be; excellent combat weapons. :)

I'm not sure how widely this realization has caught on, but I figure that Glock bashing should be getting harder and harder, since most of the major gun manufacturers now offer their own versions of "plastic" guns.

I'm not here to bash, believe it or not. I don't have anything against Glock, nor am I wildly impressed with the pistols. I'm also not a "1911" guy or a servant to any brand pistol.

I must, however, call out hypocrisy when I see it. Denfoote, I hate to "flame" you because you seem to be a likeable fellow, but what's up with your sudden love affair with Glock? A mere couple of months ago, you couldn't hardly force yourself to even type the word G-L-O-C-K without hacking and coughing and calling it a POS. You would gush on and on about your beloved Walther P99, kinda like Ala Dan does about his SIG 220. Dan still obviously loves his SIG, as well he should, but now all I hear from you is about how great your Glocks are. So what gives? Were you previously downing Glocks without having any experience with them? Or did you have some sudden revelation and a successful shooting excursion with a Glock? Now you don't owe me anything, much less an explanation, however, I would like to hear the reason for the change of heart. And I believe you might owe the Glocksters an apology.
Sorry if I'm coming down on you. I've been known to be abrasive and offensive (hell, I've almost lost my privileges to this forum), but at least I'm consistent and I just calls em as I sees em.

MYLHOUSE, what are you talking about I have never owned a walther p99. have you taken your medication today.....btw who are you the fireing line police...I only made this post for positive comments not for people trying to cause trouble.....I read somewhere that every forum has a guy like you always trying to cause trouble.....guess that is also true....RON1

RON 1,

I think he was complaining about Denfoote for changing his mind.

Mylhouse,
I was given one as a birthday present by a Sith Lord. I have since been seduced by the dark side. I now own two.

Bought a M20, spent another $1000 tuning it, still didn't like it, sold it.

Bash bash bash.....

If you like Glocks goody for you, decent guns (like most every other gun), nothing to bash except some owners' snotty attitudes (but we've been through this before with Sig/H&K/1911/etc.).

Besides, they are good guns. Just not my personal fav...

Darn! I came in to defend my beloved Glocks, but nobody got any shots worthy of expending any effort to refute. :) Guess My Glocks will rest easy, along with the various other brands of pistols I have.

I have to admit that I would do a little Glock bashing  But it was done so in jest, What is one mans junk is another mans treasure :) I always thought they were the ugliest guns made  Now I have to say I am the proud owner of a md#27, It still is
a little ugly  But I like it :D

What fun would it be bashing guns that nobody cares about...? Fanatics (a., filled with mistaken enthusiasm...Websters, not mine) are always the most colorful people to debate. (ie, bash, bash, bash)

Yeah. That Glock staple-gun trigger sure is tantalizing.

And I say that because I pretty much can shoot any Glock rapid-fire much more accurately that other pistols. I don't own any Glocks, however. Don't really care for them.

See, I too can be ruled by emotion, rather than logic, just like the anti-crowd.
