Glock 42 yes or no?

Mine was not reliable enough for carry. I had several of the lockbacks earlier guns had in this model. Also the magazine release is prone to pop the mag out in pocket carry. Looking at the online reports of Glock changes, it looks like mine (bought new July 2014) had most of them, maybe I needed the latest magazines. But with the magazine popping out in my pocket, I dumped it on a buddy who is a Glock armorer....

I have little interest in the 43 as I already have a Sig P 938 if I want a 9mm. I doubt you will see a flood of used 42's on the market for any reason as this is a pistol that is a joy to shoot and conceal when you do not want anything bigger or heavier so people will hang onto them even if buying a 43. I have found it to be extremely accurate printing big ragged Holes at seven yards. Almost as good as my Sig P 238!

I don't particularly like Glocks, but one of the 42s found it's way to my house. :D
Bought it for my wife. Unfortunately she actually likes it.

I have a current production G42. I've had the slide lock open prematurely 4-5 times in 168 rounds. I still like it. Otherwise it's fed, fired, extracted/ejected everything I've tried, both hollowpoints and fmj.
