Glock 30S Negative Review

Ever wonder why Glock has no Gen 5 .45/ acp?
The Gen 5 guns eliminated the locking block pin which Glock felt was necessary in all the calibers above 9mm.

Basically there are no Gen 5 guns in any calibers other than 9mm. That "generation" was really just a modification intended to make their 9mm pistols more attractive in the U.S. military sidearm competition.

My first handgun was a G30. I'm sure my grip fundamentals at that time were poor but the recoil with this pistol traumatized me. I grooved a strong flinch trying to shoot the G30 that still haunts me at times. I traded it for a Sig P220 at a gun show and was very glad to see it go.

>>I had a Glock 30 probably 10 years ago and hated it. The recoil wasn't an issue. It was the ergonomics and the trigger I hated.<<

I've had two of them in the past and sold them for the same reason.
