Glock 19

I just paid $558 for the "Talo" Glock 19 gen 4 with 3 mags, Ameriglo night sight, plus the interchangeable backstraps and a Glock speed loader. Nicely in its case with a wire brush from Buds. $25 For the background ck. I asked what Talo meant and it really means squat. Like the rip off you get when you buy those Commemorative
Coins or such garbage. You can get the Gen 3 for around $500 NIB or the Gen 4
for $546??. Add 2 mags($29.95 each) plus the Ameriglo sights between $60-$70. But you're way over $660 bought separately. Do the math.
If you can get a decent used Glock19 for under $500. Get it before it's gone.
Last thought. Like Cheapshooter says never sell or something like that.

As a Collector's item. yes it surely is. It's my Collection item & I will not sell this one or any of my Wheels. I have a very lucky Nephew someday.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Years.

I seriously lucked out on my Gen 3 Glock 19. Managed to get it NIB for $390 a few years back lol.

I had some good gun luck that year. Won two rifles on a $35 ticket and managed to get the glock for $410 total after transfer NIB.

I'd probably go for it. I don't know that I'd carry it or anything but I'd probably have it just to play around with sometimes.

Went to a local gun show this afternoon. Came back with a Glock 19 Gen 4 in Flat Dark Earth. It was priced at $559, marked down (?) from $629. Can't really assess the actual price. I traded a Beretta 12 gauge 302 that had been taking up safe space for the past 10 years. I think they allowed $379 for the Beretta. I was just tired of lugging the ex-wife's skeet gun from show to show to find a buyer. Final $$ was Beretta and $275 including tax and B/G check. I had a Glock 17 several years ago. But this G19 caught my eye. I was impressed with the three magazines (had forgotten that they were 14 rounders). I did not realize that the add-on back straps would make a difference but they do. I have a "ham" fist and thought the strap would work. Nope, stepped it back to the smaller model. Dry fire seems to indicate a pretty good trigger. Looking forward to a range outing. By the way, what is the word on shooting lead out of these "modern" Glocks vs jacketed. I reload for everything in the safe.

Thanks to some folks here when I asked about G3 vs G4 on the G19, I bought the Brownell's special...............my only regret? I waited 20 years to get one to go with my G17 and 26..................
My wife can now claim MY 26 as hers.........(but she is NOT getting my HK P7 she gave me!)

"Shootable first, and Carryable a close second" is the best way to describe my own Gen3 19. Just practice with it and make it work for you.
