Glock 19 modifications

Either factory night sights or Meprolights. On guns other than those with the RTF2 grips, I stipple the frames.

Something else I left out. Being left handed I've found that the extended mag release on the G34/35 will dig into your index finger. I took a dremel to it to round off the edges and now its a non-issue.

G19 is totally stock
G26 has +2 mag and it my EDC
G37 has Meprolight night sights, "Competition Kit" installed at Glock (slide & ramp polished, minus trigger bar, and springs for a 4.1 lb trigger pull), and a Crimson Trace laser.

I may add night sights to the 9's but other than that I will leave them alone. My G37 work was done at Glock back when they came out. I have one of the early ones. The guy that was the manager of LEO sales for Glock was in my national Guard unit. He had the work done for me as a retirement present. I added the laser a few years latter.

Ken Hackathorn sights, ghost trigger bar, removed the bump at the bottom front of the grip, and undercut the trigger guard and backstrap in order to get a higher grip.

Well that depends on which G19 we're talking about. On my Gen4 carry gun, Trijicon HD sights and factory minus (-) connector. On my Gen4 competion gun, Warren/Sevigny sights with fiber optic front, and Vogel competion trigger system. My Gen3 has Trijicon sights, Talon Grips, and and a butt plug.

Having said that, I don't recommend changing anything unless there's good reason. Except for the sights of course, Glock sights are terrible.

Good night sights (if it didn't come with them) are the only modification a Glock 19 needs.

Glock brand night sights cost only about $60 and work great.

100% factory. I shoot it very well that way.

All I really feed I would like, are night sights. Looking to put something new aside from the usual HDs or XS sights. Taking my sweet time. :)

Glock OEM (Meprolight) Night sights is what i run on my G19. Other than that, proper cleaning and lube materials/procedure and good carry ammo (Hornady Critical Duty 135gr +P) is all I do.

I just got the truglo tfo sights for mine. Pretty excited to try them out. The factory sights just don't do it for me. The only other modification I would like to do is the trigger...i would like something where the safety isn't as intrusive. Any recommendations? I enjoy the trigger pull, the safety is just very pointy feeling and is sometimes hard to get the right finger pad grip on it.

I don't have my Glock yet (got a stock FNS 9 instead) but the company I work for issues stock Glock 19 as their duty guns.

I'm planning to pick up a Gen4 19 as soon as I can.

As a working gun it will remain pretty much stock, but I do plan to add the ICE Claw rear sight, and a hi vis Tritium front sight. Not sure what brand for the front yet.

I also might go with an extended mag release if my practice with the 19 suggests it's needed.
