Glock 19 for Beretta 92?

Why would anyone want to trade the most consistantly reliable handgun made for a ugly-jammomatic beretta!
Since I rarely hear anything along this line with the Beretta, one can only assume that you're repeating something that you've heard, surely not first hand information! My guess is you don't own one, and have probably not even shot one.

Although I'm a big Glock booster, and I have four of them, one thing that I would never try to sell is the Glock is better looking than the Beretta! :barf:

First gun I ever owned was a G19. Never fit me. Moved onto the Beretta and Sig Sauer families. I'll never look back.

It amazes me that people on this board complain about people being rabid in their defense of a certain type of gun, and then when a poster makes a light-hearted post mocking this mentality, everyone quickly jumps on him/her, assuming them to be serious. It's not that hard to pick up on humor/sarcasm, look for the little smiley face after the post.

It's actually kind of funny to watch you all tear this poor poster to pieces. Sigghhhhh. Oh well.

"First gun I ever owned was a G19. Never fit me."

That's fair. Much as many of us like G19's, no one firearm is perfect for everyone. Lot's of people swear by Colt Detective Specials. I could never shoot one well although I like the S&W 640.

Well johnwill I have shot a beretta 9mm it was the first handgun I ever shot,my friends dad let us take it to the range and it did jam a few times needless to say it didnt leave a good impression.I stated the facts as they were presented to me A:the falure to feed properly, exibit B: the squashed looking slide at the nose of the gun, what is with that? :D The only beretta IMO that looks tastefull is the new 87 target pistol.why cant all beretta's look like that? The second handgun I ever shot was a G19 which I purchased. I put 1000 rounds thru it and never had a single falure to feed or extrac t;) I am sad to say I sold it and now own my third pistol a Springfield stainless. My post was never ment to be offensive just a humorious way to state my oppion.Good day!!

Keep them both. They are both very good guns, why sell one?

The Glock is great for concealed carry, light, small, no sharp edges or gizmos to catch. I am thin and it is still easy and comfortable to conceal.

The Berettas a nice duty/winter clothes carry weapon.

Personally I love the Glock and have 8 high cap mags for my 2 model 19s...you can't have too many mags.

I keep all my guns, guess I'm just sentimental;) ;)
