Gibbs M1903A4? How rare are these?

They're not rare at all. Gibbs will sell you one today.
Gibb's stuff was cobbled together on receivers found in the UK, as I recall. None of 'em, including the standard '03A3's, were anything but 1003A3 DP receiver rebuilds. They say right on their site that they're replicas built on DP rifles.

The Gibbs rifles were not fakes or forgeries. They were reproductions and sold as such. using recovered drill receivers and new barrels. Rock ridge is the maker now. I have shot several, very accurate.
