Gentlemen, what's the RANGE membership fees where you live and which do you subscribe to? (That is, how important is the value of range time to you?)

I'm trying to get an idea of what we're all paying in the game of demographics and economy to do what we love whether it's for training, for pleasure, what have you....

What type of membership do you have/pay for?

Not too interested in the 'I shoot outdoors for free' category, as that's obvious, but want to see what's the overall going rate for the serious, dedicated shooter.

$15 one day all day indoor 9am to 9pm. I also during that day I can leave and come back to shoot. Need no membership. Don't shoot enough, but when I do, I make it count. 3 hours minimum.

And I'm from were your from.
 
I pay $35/yr at the outdoor range I belong to. I don't care for it much though because shortest distance to shoot at is 15 yds. When I shoot indoors I pay $15-20 per visit.

I usually shoot at a state game area about 16 miles from home.
The local DNR set aside a target shooting area open to the public.

I take out tables, chairs, measuring wheel, target stands, and targets.
For the cost of fuel and bullets, I can shoot all day for under $25/gun.

When I go to the range, I take at least 3 guns to shoot.
I usually shoot the 22lr, .45 acp, and .45 carbine.

On days I don't go to the range, I have a BB gun range at home.
I usually shoot .177 BB pistol and air rifle for under $4 all day.
 
Having the guts to go to an unattended public range and take your chances between Rambo and Scarface while trying to teach newbies the proper range etiquette.
 
$35 a year (discount for being a >65 years old member renewing, further discount for volunteer work at the club), no other fees except for trap, unlimited use of 100-200-300 yd ranges, "plinking" range, outdoor pistol range with rotating targets, archery range; indoor range pass, useable 24/7 except for monthly meeting times $20 signup fee, then $7.50/year (I think - I don't use the indoor range).
 
My club, Camden Rod and Gun Club in Camden NY. Annual dues $35, Has outdoor pistol range (approx 40 yards), outdoor rifle range (200 yards), skeet field ($3 per cycle), trap field ($3 per cycle), indoor 50 foot pistol range. Club house seats 50 with a full kitchen.

Pistol range available 24/7, outdoor ranges available 9AM to 9PM.

Oh yes, it's a family membership.

Kimberton Fish & Game (SE PA), $85/year. You get the combo for the gate lock and have 6 ranges to choose from: 100 yd. rifle, 25/50 yd. pistol, 25 ft. combat pistol, skeet/trap, archery, 50 yd. black powder/.22/pistol-caliber carbine. Generally a good bunch of people to shoot with.
 
$100 as part of a corporate membership gets me two sporting clays courses, two 5-stand, a pistol area, a short rifle area (50) yards, the standard rifle area (300) and the long range area (850)

Lets me shoot metallic for free anytime the place is open and gets 25% clay targets
 
Sparta Rod&Gun is $20, Chaseberg is $25 (per year), Ridgerunners I don't remember I bought a lifetime Membership when I was 18 and that was a while ago... I'm almost sure it was 250.
 
$75 a year ........includes 25 yard pistol range, 100 -300 yard rifle range, skeet range $4 per rd to shoot, a 50 yard rimfire only range and a archery range.

75 dollars a year gets you the key for the gate at the Laredo rifle and pistol club.

It has 6 ranges including a skeet range, a 200 yard a 500 meter and a 50 yard as well as a 10 yard and 20 yard range.
 
At the Bullet Trap in Plano,TX where I belong it's $90 a year, but being ex-military I get to shoot for free Monday-Friday and then it's 1/2 price on the weekends.
 
One nearby outdoor range charges roughly $100 a year, and requires you are a NRA member and work at least one designated work day to maintain the range.

Another also charges $100 a year. In their case, they charge an initiation fee, and a fee for the gate card. After three years, they give the option of a lifetime membership for $1000.

The indoor range I belong to charges $165 for a single membership, range hours coincide with the store hours. There is also a $250 family membership that also gives range access for two hours after the store is closed.
 
You specify RANGE fees, not club fees,but quote what loks like club fees so I'm a bit confused:confused:

Round here there is a public RANGE, its $15.00 per day, ot $25 per year.

Clubs with ranges vary enormously.
Lowest is $50 initiation & $65 per year, highest is $3500 initiation & $1200 per year membership.

Some of the paid membership clubs also charge varying range fees in addition.
Low is free to members $4.00 for guests. High is $15 per shoot.
 
$150/year gets me a 300 yard rifle range, 50 yard handgun range, sporting clays course, 5 stand and skeet. A lake to fish in, 500 acres to turkey or bow hunt on and a campground. Not enough land to rifle hunt on, but there is an adjoining 3000 acre hunt club I could join, but never have

There is a small additional fee for each round of the shotgun sports to pay for targets. On the rifle/handgun range I can pay $5 per visit, or an addidional $25/year.I rarely shoot on the shotgun courses, but get to the rifle ranges at least twice a month so I just pay $175/year and call it good.
