I've used both the Uncle Mike' Pocket holster and the Galco Pro18 for the S&J Frame. It look sort of like this:
but contoured to cover the J-frame trigger guard. The lips of the holster are stiff enough to protect the laser on a BG38 and the holster itself is stiff enough not to deform while sitting, unlike the Uncle Mike's. The holster hook has worked well to keep the holster pocketed and to allow a smooth draw of the revolver.
I use the Galco for either a BG38 or a 642. Retired the Uncle Mike's.
