G.W. Bush and his DUI

So far, the only person I saw negatively affected by this was...

Hillary Clinton!

This morning on Good Morning America, The first five questions asked of her were about GW's DWI incident from '76! You could see the annoyance on the turtle's face as she tried to compose herself and turn the tide toward a discussion of her trying to take over NY.

FYI, the word "guns" did indeed come out of her mouth! It was item number 2 of the 5 things she and her opponent disagree on!

NY and CA are about to get a lot closer, methinks.

I HATE DWI/DUI.

That said, I don't think that Geo. W. did anything terrible as a bad man would. He made a stupid error in judgement. Now, let's all go back to that year (I turned 5 when this happened), and remember the general overall view of DUI. Not that big a deal, back then. About on par with really fast speeding.

Your answer to people like my friend who sent me an email saying "You're not gonna vote for that drunk driver, are you?" should be:

"You know, you're right-- he may still be a menace on the road, and if he's not elected president, he'll be out of gubernatorial office in 2 years. If he's elected President, he'll be chauffered around in state limos and Air Force One for four years. Please, for EVERYONE'S safety, elect George W. Bush to the White House, if only so that he won't have to drive himself.

It's for the children."

Long Path, you're correct about attitudes toward DUI years back. In the seventies I drove drunk on several occassions. As penalties increased and MADD raised the awareness of the public, I stopped doing it.

But GW's arrest was long ago. And he fessed up to it last night on the spot, no attorneys, no weasel words. There's a double standard being applied by the media, who chose to pretty much ignore comments by Clinton's brother Roger that in the governor's mansion, Clinton had a nose for cocaine like a vaccum cleaner.

I just hope the public recognizes a red herring when they see one. This could actually mobilize the Republican base, too, by making them angrier than ever.

OK, now I'm scared.

First off, the indications are even clearer that this was a plant. Activist Don Rearic, I guy I've known for years, just posted the following on bladeforums:

According to a former Clinton Aide, this is the first "November Surprise" ever.

This was an ambush from a bunch of stonewalling, desperate cretins.

This Administration has stonewalled on handing over documents, various records and files for eight years...

Yet, a 24 year old arrest record for a DUI in Maine surfaces...

Here it is in a nutshell, tell your family and friends who may be wavering on their Vote for Bush...tell them the truth.

Gore's Campaign is lying their ass off...

First, it seemed that a little old reporter wanting to make a name for herself overheard a Judge and an Attorney speaking about a rumored G.W. Bush arrest years ago...

She was set up or an active participant.

The Lawyer that handed over the case to her is none other then one Thomas Connelly (spelling?), a Democrat that has run for Governor of Maine.

He was a Delegate from the State of Maine to The Democratic National Convention.

Pretty bad huh?

Not convinced?

Chris LeHane, Gore's Spokesman, stated emphatically that the Gore Campaign was not responsible for the leak...really?

Chris LeHane's sister works in Connelly's Office in Maine.

Are you pissed yet?

Gore will not comment on the Bush DUI, why? Because his Son was just busted for it a few months ago in North or South Carolina, but you rest easy...he is behind it.

Jim again. So it's obviously a plant, and the slanderous nature of the "Wienerboy" site isn't helping Gore's cause any.

Geee...is it just me, or is that site now unavailable?

It gets better. It's unavailable in the SAME way another embarassing site just crashed, the www.godhatesfags.com site publishing pics of Gore arm-in-arm with a total arsehole.

Don't believe me? Pull up a DOS window on a net-connected machine (not AOL and not via proxy server) and type:

tracert www.godhatesfags.com

and

tracert www.wienerboy.org

You'll get the "same basic pattern". The trace starts because the target server is up, but the signals go by-by when you get close because somebody is bombarding the target with huge numbers of false data requests. (Note: the GHF website is hosted out of WashState, WB is near New York, the tracerts will get geophraphically close to each.) It's called a "Denial Of Service" (DOS) attack and it's a crude, blunt-force technique.

On top of everything else, the Clinton/Gore administration has turned to felony hacking.

If a 24 year old offense is all the dirt that the file-gate folks can dig up on George W., he's a pretty clean guy!!

Didn't he talk about the DUI during his 20/20 interview? He must have... I knew about this some time ago.

I also heard that Gore has one too!
DUI and Speeding.
I have no sources on that one though that I can share... just hearsay.

George I heard on Reagan's talk show that a caller had info that Gore has 2 reckless driving arrests in TN, and currently a search is underway.
