Four new posters. Phrasing suggestions, criticisms welcome

Oleg, Bravo! perhaps these will help...

#3
"The Bill of Rights, protecting the States right to operate newspapers?"
(over photo of the WSJ, with Kahr on it.)

#4
"Are you prepaired for a fire? Are you prepaired for a rapist?"

"It's ok, i don't need a fire extinguisher, i'll never have a fire in my house..."

2.) Real Women Own Firearms... They Don't

4.) Q: Which of the following could save your life?
A. B. C.

A: All of the above

Nicely done.

Oleg: All are great. I like 'weak women dont' because when you think about it,they ARE too weak to think about self defense.

You have to be there when it's all over. Otherwise you can't say "I told you so."

Better days to be,

1) I agree with Don. 2) Ken doesn't FEAR Barbie's "restraining order". 3) Pretty darn good, as is. 4) Yes, go with the "red cross" style 1st Aid kit. Maybe add a car jack with lug wrench?
Very nice shots of your new P9. I certainly hope that you plan a detailed review, like the kind you did with the P32? :) :) :)

Yes, I do plan to review the P9. I also plan a poster with it (suitable for desktop use) with the worst gun-puns imaginable :)

I've always thought Barbie = Bimbo. Maybe "Bimbos don't," would work.
Priceless! How true...

Poster 1) Maybe too many words for those hurried-in-the-halls student types. Perhaps instead of "I wonder why that was?" howzabout
"Ever wonder why not?"

But, either way, as usual, your posters hit the mind pretty hard.

Since the BArbi is making everybody pause,

Get a picture of "Ken" with his hands on Barbi's neck,

"Strong women own guns, others go to support groups."
" . . . other's go to recovery groups, once they get released from the ER."

1) Love it. Wonder if it would read quicker--and ring in the mind longer--if the bottom line simply said: Why?

2) I do like it better "Bimbos" rather than "Dolls" because sometimes 'doll' can be a term of affection on par with 'honey' and 'sugar', but 'bimbo' is not. The size/style of purse with the gun looks good.

3) Really like it. I note that the font is all caps/small caps EXCEPT the letter 'i' which is dotted like a lower case letter. I would recommend blacking out that little white dot above the two i's.

4) Last fall I took a community emergency response team (C.E.R.T.) course and this really speaks to me. I would agree with the person who suggested a more obvious red cross on the first aid kit. It will make recognition of that small element quicker in the mind of the reader and leave more time for your main point to sink in.

Keep up the great work!

Pack Rat's suggestion for Number 4 is the best suggestion yet, I think. Asking the question forces people to look at the punchline because they expect you to make a wrong point about choosing one over the other, if only for an instant. Very good, Pack Rat.

Wolf,
You can do much better than that.
1) "1984" will go out over most modern heads;
3) The question is obscure; 1st and 2nd
Amendments are different;
2), 4) are right on the money, though not
too dramatic.

2) Real women own guns. (nothing else needed here)

OR, you could cut the head off the Barbie doll, and use "Women Own Guns, Victims Don't."

1) Ole Winston was too many years ago. I was focused on figuring out who he was, instead of your message.

3) How about "One is useless without the other." ?

4)This is great. Another option: "Because you can't always wait for help to arrive."

#1,3, & 4 are prefect(sic). For #2, you might try "Soccer Moms do not" instead of "Bimbos". Perhaps you could change the picture- instead of using a Barbie doll, try to find something that is representative of the Million Moo March crowd.

My humble suggestions-

For Barbie:
"Support Choice...Choose not to be a victim"

For 1984:
second half of copy, change to:
Ever wonder why?

For "prepare":

"Take Safety Seriously...Prepare For Emergencies"

Maybe add a child-safety seat or an insurance document and replace the first-aid kit with a white w/ red cross version.

For "1st Amendment":

"Technology moves forward. Our rights remain the same."

"The Founding Fathers envisioned both."

Who is the intended audience? Phrases that evoke thoughtful questions persuade better than "in your face" lines like the ones I suggest.

Who's Wolf? :D

If Winston Smith is too hard to remember (and shame on everyone who said he was!) then how about "Big Brother didn't allow gun ownership?" Surely no one will mistake Big Brother.

I added these images (and some others) to my RKBA site today. I do plan to re-edit it to include Big Brother (for now featured in the ALT tag).

Oleg,

I like all of them. It's likely many readers will not know who Winston Smith is, however, your message is clear. I agree with "Air Head" versus "Bimbo". The last graphic is the most powerful (IMHO); it employs the fire extinguisher analogy I have used dozens of times.

Well done and thanks.
