For now, 3rd party needs to go away!!

Gary- you put my message in perspective, only I do think Gore would be that bad.

Thanks for "holding your nose" and voting the way we NEED instead of th way we WANT.

This is the last chance Republicants get with my vote. I voting straight republicant here in IN. I want GW in the Big house and a Republican Majority in the congress. I want to see if they will not hold firm against no new laws, but actually repeal the ones on the books, dispand the ATF, Close other agencies. If they can't produce with a majority and the White House, then they loose my vote until they repent.

In 2002, if they can't produce, then it's time for the pick and choose between the true conservative Republicants and Libertarian. Last Chance Republicants.

(Don't worry, I'm not going into rant mode ;) )

Point: the popular vote is totally meaningless. The President is elected by the electoral college, which can (and does) go against the popular will. Voting for Browne, or Nader, or Buchanan, doesn't make a difference because the electors decide who gets the vote of an entire state, winner-take-all. It will be Bush or Gore, and the number of popular votes for other candidates will make no difference.

Point: There is NO "third party." There are the two major parties, and all the other (40-some-odd) minor parties. The Libertarian Party has the third largest number of registered voters of all the parties.

Point: If minor parties go away, there is absolutely no incentive for the major parties to change their evil ways.

Ditto...X...Ditto.

Are there any liberatains in the senate or house? Governors? I think they should try for some of these smaller offices to get their voices heard, I dont think the big one will be very likely if possible at all without some of the minor positions held, IMHO. I do know there are some repubs that are basically libertarians like keyes and maybe Paul (dont know his party for sure)
I will vote heavily libertarian for all the other offices below pres, on this one. And will add the pres next time depending on how things fare this time.

Let's all sing, "here we go 'round..."

It will be Bush or Gore. Every appendage on my body will be crossed on Nov. 7th. I will not be fingerprinted and photographed any more than I would allow myself to be tattoed with a number.

Nevertheless, I have apprehensions about Bush and RKBA. Hence my signature line.

G.W. has been my govenor for years, and he has done an outstanding job, and he fixed all the F**ked up s**t that b**ch Ann Richards tried to impose on us.

He does have a good record on RKBA, just not totaly right-wing like Harry Browne or the others.

I am glad you guys can understand the urgent need we are facing.

Chris;
If you think Harry Browne is "Right Wing", you obviously haven't been to his web site!!

C'mon Frenchy, give a little more credit than that!!!

I own half of his webcounter!!!

Did you know that Harry Browne supports letting convicted felons buy and own guns after they finish there jail sentinces or parole? With all the problems we have with repeat offenders, I think that is very unwise.

besides that, If Harry Browne is not right wing/conservitive, what is he?

Read it a little closer, Chris. Non-Violent felons! think about it. Some poor slob is sent up the river for tax evasion by our loveable and understanding IRS. He serves 10 years ( or less if he's lucky )and gets out. Are you telling me this guy doesn't have the right to defend himself and his family like the rest of us "law abiding" folk?? He didn't kill anyone! He broke an unconstitutional law. There are thousands of felon's serving time right now for non-violent or victimless crimes.
As for Harry Browne being right wing, compared to Pat Buchanan, No!!

If that is the case, sure, that's great.

It's too bad we can't get him into office, but right now we have to think about keeping "algore" out of office.
