I originally was considering an LC9s Pro because it was a little better fit than the Shield or XDs, but I have been reading too many things about guide rod problems with it.
Other than weight, I didn't find it uncomfortably larger than the 42. As far as the LC9s goes, it's the height 4.25" (43) vs 4.50" (LC9s) that makes a difference to me.
