Fonda at it again.

Hmmm. If she went to North Viet Nam and sat on an anti-aircraft gun, what will she do as an encore in Iraq? Strap on some explosives?

One can only hope.

Someone say Kimchee? Yummy!

Whose jane Fonda anyway? Some washed up actress that acts like a cranky bag lady since she isnt good lookin any more?

Easy now.........

Play fair now Alaska.............. for a woman of her mature ripe old age, she cleans up for the American media shows rather well.... Make up and lights can make one look a lot different than in real life.... ;) I just love picking at her silly a**. Does she deserve it? Heck yes she begs for it..... :D

While we're on the subject

I occasionally cast votes at this site:

vote.com

I got an e-mail on this and decided to cast my vote, I'll have to admit, the current results surprise me somewhat.

Check it out, I think you'll find it interesting.

LOL... I love kimchee and bulgogi. Think I may have had some Kulgogi by accident one night  but after having had about 8 liters of beer i wanst sure.

The more attention folks give Jane the bigger the publicity is gonna be. Personally I think shes a nitwit. Last time I looked everyone here has freedom of speech.

Yes Jane may be rich...but you also have the power of economic boycott of her products and the power to ignore her and voice your opinion about her.

Ah but have you have a kimchi, bulgogi BURGER like I have???

Get a box of powdered donuts and some root beer with that and you have yourself a good meal.

powder yum yums.......

Sorry this isn't on topic........... but I don't picture you as the athletic type ;)

To keep this legal............. I forgive Jane Fonda :D NOT........

I am not a Fonda fan- showing disrespect to service people is NOT appropriate when they are doing a tough job mandated by the politicians and what she did with the anti aircraft gun during the Vietnam war is unforgiveable.

As with Vietnam though, is Iraq a srew up?, Iraq is not about weapons of mass destruction any more than the domino principle was a valid means of halting Communism.

Criticism about us being in Iraq is not per se criticism of servicemen and women, it is a criticism of the bad policy decisions that put us there.

As far as I'm concerned, we've made life for the majority of civilians there alot better, and we've secured a base of operations in the middle east, and oil. BTW the reason we haven't found WMDs, I believe, is because they are hidden in the infinite sand of the desert.

UN resolutions not followed and enforced?

Initial reports by other governments besides the U.S. had strong indications of possible WMD's. Should we just sit around and waited and found out?

The guy running the country was a real gem too. As many different historians guess a million dead under his rule is a large number in my book.

Some reports argue if Sadam had some connection to terrorist activities.

Kicks inspection teams out - lets them back in - kicks them back out.....

Shall I stop? Please don't tell me that bashing the policy and the politicians has no issue with respect of how this action is fought. It is unreal that anyone tells me this. It has a very negative effect when troopers hear this stuff. I know it does because I, as thousands of others whom served have brains and sort this sort of crap out too...... It has a negative trickle-down and that is fact.......

I don't agree with everything or for that matter most of this administrations work but I don't know what we should have done.....? Maybe wait for what 5, 6, maybe 10 more UN papers of wasted ink........ I still hate every single day I hear a brave troop has lost his life or has been hurt over there. The many I have been honored to speak to have told me they were glad to do what they could. Many wanted to go back to ensure the pals they fought with would be ok........ Now, that is some guts and resolve..... God Bless em all..........

Tears : when I read the names of those whom fell in 'Nam , came back with a chunk of themselves still in SEA - when I stand in front of the memorial locally with the Vets, family and others like myself

Spit : and that is too good for Fonda.

Are we really in Iraq to save the world for democracy. I don't think so. I don't think so. Secondly the politicians- here (in Australia) and in the US have denied regime change as a valid reason for war.

America's interest there is about Oil. Ditto for Afghanistan- not that Afghanistan has oil, but if you want to extract Southern Siberian oil cheaply it needs to go South through Afghanistan to India or West through Iraq.

Sorry to sound cynical, but your President is after all an oil man.

oil again........

Since we have tried to control Iraq and Afghan oil and routes for oil...... When will the U.S. consumer see the big price cut at the pumps? I think that my fuel has went up some 42% in 3 years. That is just on my vehicle log. Not all are going to be able to come up with that same percentage. Now, if we were going in for the oil something along the way must be broken. I won't argue that oil might be a strong paragraph in the middle east book. I also think the middle east book might have a few more pages and chapters beyond the oil section???? Can we agree with that? ;)

regards........

Never going to see a price cut at the pumps..lol The price is going to stay around the $2.00 mark now

there is only so much oil production capacity in the world. With China's need for oil increasing they are taking a bigger bite of the pie. which will lead to increased prices. In fact with some of our jobs going to third world countries folks there may be able to purchase vehicles which will lead to more demand. Not to mention the fact that China is attemtepting to buy UnoCal...

There is only so much fuel production capacity in the US. The Oil companies are greasing us up for higher prices. Also remember that some of that price is
federal, state and local taxes. In W VA 48 cents gallon goes to government.
In Cali its higher. Some states are lower. In fact in the new energy bill I hear the oil companies are going to get nice tax cuts to go with those windfalls from $60.00 a barrel oil..lol Thanks to the Republicans. While our deficits and fuel prices go up :(

If you want a secure and strong America for the future then we should have a national energy program that decreses our dependence on imported oil. Thats the bottom line.

All those claims that Bush attacked Iraq over oil is like saying Lincoln attacked the South to free the slaves(thats what em damn liberals want you to think). Its just a side effect that works out for us but not the main reason.

multiple choice test

Why did the US attack Iraq

a. WMDs
b. Terrorists
c. To promote democracy

those are the successive answers Bush has given, which one is it?

Have not found any WMDs
No Proven Terrorist links to the 9/11 attack
If we are promoting democracy in the region why are all our Arab allies Authotitarian regimes?

I really want to understand why we did it....but Bush changes his answer every so often it confuses me.

Back to Jane Fonda. As a Vietnam combat veteran, I always felt she should have been tried for treason, and, once found guilty, hanged by the neck from a freeeway overpass in the center of the four level in L.A., left for a week then fed to hogs in the Central Valley.

In response, my wife says, "Don't beat around the bush, dear; tell us what you really think."

She's a waste of oxygen and a vexation to the spirit.
Ignore her and she'll go away. She cares nothing for America, American soldiers or the American publc save for the money she can suck out of us with her insipid book and equally insipid movie. Give her an enema and bury her in a shoe box. fuggetaboutit
