FN fiveseveN

TruthTellers, FWIW, the ammo I tested was not AP and was available to the general public. I inquired about getting the AP SS190 duty ammo too. But as the AP ammo was tightly controlled at the time, and it would have taken me ~90 days to get it, we decided to go ahead with the non-AP SS192 for the T&E we were doing. Not to take away from the TCM round. I may end up with one of the guns chambered for that round myself one day. I'm a lot more comfortable with the 1911 type pistols than with the FN.

You want 2000 fps out of a .22 caliber pistol? Buy a .22 TCM, which in any loading will pierce Lvl IIIA armor.

Are there any non-1911 guns chambered for the .22 TCM? Better yet, anything in DA/SA? This has kept both rounds out of my sights, despite how interesting they look on paper.

Congrats :)

I picked one up a little while ago which I haven't shot all that much. It sure likes to throw the brass.

I've always thought that it had some potential as a 200 yard give or take critter gun. In a rifle it would be a lighter, slower bullet than the wmr, but just as lethal, I expect.

The question is going to be windage and drop.
