I have a fns 40. Out of the box, the trigger was terrible. It was rough as sandpaper on sandpaper. After some stoning and polishing, it is now a very smooth, crisp trigger. I do trigger work on all my pistols so to me this is not a huge deal, but to the person who does not do trigger work, I might have to put the Fns on the avoid list. FN can do a heck of a lot better than what they did with the FNS trigger.
