First Time CZ Owner

hey Brando 1992, what I failed to tell you is that I had a $100.00 gift card I put toward that....... hahaha...! I should have stated that, but it ended up costing me the $407.00

Thank you very much! They are around 5-575 on gunbroker.

A bit of info for you is that while they are lighter than the regular compacts the frame is a tad different(a tick wider) due to being aluminum. Soooooo, holsters are a bit harder to find. If you want Milt Sparks you're outta luck, but if you had the regular compact you're IN luck. LOL! I use a Garrett industries stx 2.0 with mine and am VERY happy and there are other options..... just throwing that bit of info out there in case you don't enjoy "the hunt" as much as I do.:D

Thanks Lantern2814...! I'm afraid after discovering and researching these CZ pistols.....I'm going to end up with a few more than one down the road...!

My new winter EDC is an alloy framed compact, but that's just because I managed to find a set of (discontinued) Lasergrips for it. I actually like the P-07 more.

Think Glock 19 but without the "shoot yourself in the leg" trigger and with a comfortable grip angle. If there were a laser for the P-07 it would be my new carry gun instead of the compact.

Does Crimson Trace have the rail mounted laser that you could put on it... I have the rail mount one on my Glock 19 and it fits and looks awesome on it. Very accurate.......!!!!

Hello Elkins45, check out the Crimson Trace (CMR-201) Universal Railmaster
laser.........locks right on to your P-07 Rail....! They run around $159.00, give or take.....

I went shopping for the SP-01 and came home with the P-07 a little better than a year ago, and I feel like I hit the lottery. I've handled the steel guns, love 'em, I'll own one someday, but I wanted a poly carry gun anyway, so....

What it boils down to is that CZ makes one of the best, if not THE best poly and steel guns available.

I paired my P-07 with a Kramer scabbard holster, and I feel I have the best carry rig a guy could own at any cost.

History Junky......Did you ever get a holster for your P-07...?
Yes. I have an IWB single clip holster from Blue Line Concealment.

Aliengear also makes a good dual clip IWB for it.

In a couple weeks I'm getting a custom holster from Black Rhino Concealment to accommodate my P07 with a Streamlight TLR-3 attached. Also IWB.

I think quite a few companies offer a P07 holster now.

These are "old" ones I have, but I think they are all outstanding. I would recommend sll for anyone: CZ75B, CZ70, CZ52. Have had outstanding performance by all

I love my CZ75 P-01 and CZ97B. Great guns. Maybe one day I will trade the CZ97B because its too big for my hand but I still love it.

The P-01 is my favorite gun of all the ones I have.

Crimson Trace doesn't make lasergrips for CZ any more, too bad. My set finally quit working for my P-01, still in the back of the safe somewhere. The RAMi isn't actually a CZ-75 direct model, it's a shrunken version of the CZ40B, itself a slightly reworked version of the CZ/Colt hybrid the Colt Z-40. Great little gun, and my wife loves hers. Nice grips on yours!

Good holsters are around - personal preference is High Noon for my rigs, and they carry everything for CZ.

Oddly enough, the one CZ pistol I have never had is the actual original CZ75B, weird, isn't it?

I agree with the comments here about the steel and alloy CZs. I've got an SP-01 Tactical that is the sweetest shooting, most accurate pistol I own. I LOVE that gun.

And I recently bought a CZ Rami BD (decocker) model. It feels great in the hand and shoots well, although I'm not nearly as accurate with it as I am with the SP-01 Tactical.

Congrats on your P-07. I've never shot one, but I've handled them in the store and they feel great. It sure seems like a bargain for what you get.

A couple years ago I got a P09, nice gun. Probably the most accurate 9MM I'd had up to that point. But for some unexplainable reason it just didn't excite me. So I traded it for a model 28. Been through a few other 9mm's since but always wondered about a P07. Picked one up a couple days ago an just shot it yesterday. I put a couple hundred rounds through of my various loads and wow do I just love this thing. Just as accurate as my P09 but the size is perfect for me and I'm so glad I gave it a chance, a definite keeper.

Sorry Pilot, my bad. I meant to say all "metal". I am old and blonde.

Well I'm just old! No worries! I thought maybe CZ snuck something by me. I like the RAMI, but have a PCR so.....

Lantern,

My PCR is totally stock, but if I did modify it, I'd copy yours if that is OK. lol!
Beautiful. Let us know how the CGW upgrades go!

There IS an all steel frame CZ Compact pistol with decocker, but finding one ain't easy - Israeli Contract CZ75 Compacts, which were built with a decocker instead of the safety. I would give an unused body part to get one....

I put some Tractiongrips.com...grips on my P-07 yesterday and they look and feel incredible on the gun....! give the grips a more rubber grip feeling.....
I also got to digging around my gun room and found an old Bianchi model 4584 Evader retention holster I had bought years ago for my Sig 2022 and guess what....it fits my CZ P-07 perfect ..!!! locks up good and draws smooth, Nice...!!:)

Totally happy. Here are pics of the 10 pull averages of the DA and SA and one of how she looks with the new trigger, hammer and grip screws.

Sorry about the cell phone pics. The DA has smoothed out from being longish and having 3 notches(from decocked position) to having 2 very light notches and being a shorter pull. Also, the reset is IMO fantastic. After a few hundred rounds it'll be even better as I had the guy simply install the parts instead of buffing/polishing like the guys at CGW would have if I had sent it in.
