Congratulations! Everyone needs at least one good 22 rifle and it is tough to go wrong with a 10/22. They are a good rifle out of the box and the customization and upgrade options are endless.

Took it out last Sunday for the first time. It's a fun shooter! I'm gonna have to get different magazines for it though, I'm not a fan of the rotary magazine.

I'm not a fan of the rotary magazine.

Take a second look at the rotary magazine; It's about as foolproof as they come. I once found one on a graded trail in the FL Everglades that had repeatedly been run over and ground into the dirt and gravel. I took it home, took it apart, cleaned it out, and it still works some 40 years later, in spite of some of the pitting on the steel feed lips.
