First pix of the 24-3...

Mec,

I started my career at a newspaper, and did all of my own photography, and most of my own developing and printing. I got to be quite good at handling a camera.

When I moved to American Rifleman, I did all of my photography when I was in the field. Still lots of fun.

I chased a M24 for years without finding one at a price I wanted to pay. Last year bought a 4" M24-3 at auction. NIB, unfired, 100%, etc etc. So far, still that way although I do intend to shoot it eventually. Maybe next year on its 20th birthday?

Nice bangstick, Mike. Congratulations.

I also got a vintage S&W this weekend: A 38 Master Model 52 with old two piece box, papers, and both magazines, about 98%. :D

I'll have to post about reloading for it over in the handloading dept as I've never loaded .38 flush seated wadcutters. The 52 shoots like a dream, really accurate - and that bright blue finish - yowza!:D

Got my 4" M24 in 1986 and it has been my constant companion.
carry it in an El Paso Saddlery Hip Pocket Holster that I inherited from a friend in Deming.

Thaere is no finer pocket peice in existance.

Nice 24. I don't miss my ex wife or my ex house, I do miss my ex garage though, as I don't have one now.
