First handgun purchase in 2011. What was yours?

I bought a Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry and a Glock 20.

The Kimber is for concealed carry and the G20 is for the woods as a sidearm.

The little kimber is a heck of a lot of fun but I only have about 100 rounds down the tube.

The Glock is the ugliest thing I've ever seen next to a hi-point but thats really the beauty of it as I bought it for use outdoors in the elements. Hope it stands up to it's reputation as its the first Glock I've ever owned. Havent had a chance to fire it yet. To be honest the more I look at it the ugler it gets. Not sure what all you Glock guys think is so sexy about these things. LOL.
 
My first acquisition: traded my guitar and amp that I never play anymore for a XD40 subcompact plus cash. It's brand new with night sights. It is still brand new as I haven't shot it:mad:

My first purchase: Winchester 94 in 30-30 in good shape. $250 but of course that's not a handgun:D

So far this year, I've picked up a CZ 82 and a Taurus 1911 in 38 Super. I've been surprised with the accuracy of both after one range session.

I would go for a XD or XD(M) , S & W or a Walther (PPS) if your going lower to mid end of the price scale.

SIG or HK or FNH on the higher end of the price scale.

Bought a King Cobra right before new years but it came in right after. Love the snakes. Now I have an Anaconda, Python, Cobra and 2 Diamondbacks.
Right now I'm watching a GP100 at auction. I want it.
 
Well I hit it, the buy it now button. I recently missed two I was bidding on by $1 and $4. Not this one. Got the GP100 Special Edition w/ gold accents for $500. I really think I will like those grips. Will be my wheel carry piece vs the 1911. Little smaller for summertime, yet just as effective. It's only February, I reccon I need to slow down. My Girl is still happy, just says I'm obsessed.
