Did anyone mention a 44 Mag Desert Eagle?
Is there anything more badd-ass than that?
The S&W X-frame guns are a solid competitor in that category and offer more real-world destructive capability. Of course, it's arguably more than any of us will ever actually need from a handgun. They are big and heavy. Ammo in .460 and .500 is expensive. They are probably a poor choice for someone's first handgun. However, they sure are fun against water jugs, expired food products, fruit, etc.
