Did anyone mention a 44 Mag Desert Eagle?
Is there anything more badd-ass than that?

The S&W X-frame guns are a solid competitor in that category and offer more real-world destructive capability. Of course, it's arguably more than any of us will ever actually need from a handgun. They are big and heavy. Ammo in .460 and .500 is expensive. They are probably a poor choice for someone's first handgun. However, they sure are fun against water jugs, expired food products, fruit, etc. :D

I am closing this because:

1. The personal interplay is inappropriate. I suggest the OP be aware of our posting standards if one wants to continue here.

2. Being badass (inappropriate and immature language) and cool is a trivial consideration in buying a firearm if the intent is self-defense. Stating that this was a criterion might make one look less than rational if the issue came up in court. There are precedents for this.

3. Training for self-defense is not the same as square range practice or hunting.

The advice by posters to consider such should be taken to heart.
