G Gbro New member Jan 14, 2012 #26 I have been deer hunting 3 times, last time was 25 years ago. Click to expand... Now all you have to do is tighten up the dates of your next hunts. A deer on your 3rd hunt is a very respectable expectation but if you continue at your current pace you will need a CNA and a bib to eat your next!

D Deja vu New member Jan 14, 2012 #28 That is a fine eating deer! There is nothing wrong with shooting a small buck, they are much better eating. I still have a few rifles that I would like to get a large game kill on. My 1895SBL still has only shot paper , pop-cans and Tannerite.
