Finished Coulter's How to talk to a liberal

You don't know what evolution is, then. Sorry, it really is that simple.

If you think micro-evolution/adaptation in any way supports macro-evolutionary fantasy you know nothing about "evolution".

Oh, regarding how to talk to a leftist(correct labels please, people): Don't.

If you think micro-evolution/adaptation in any way supports macro-evolutionary fantasy you know nothing about "evolution".

First of all, the poster to whom I was responding was trying to say that a clear instance of micro-evolution was not, in fact evolution. Second of all, if you can actually show me evidence that macro-evolution is impossible without posting the nonsense from the Discovery Institute or worse, Answers In Genesis fanatasy stories, please do so. And before you trot out Behe and Dembski, realize that they have been thoroughly rebutted by real scientists who actually know something about the field, rather than self-promoting frauds like the two in question. Or maybe you want to quote Hovind. That would be even more amusing. Discussions about dinosaurs being ridden by cave men are more amusing than complicated discussions of the flaws of Dembski's Design Inference assumptions and the utter intellectual vacuity of Behe's IC arguments.

Macroevolution is merely the product of genetic drift, population isolation, habitat fragmentation and extinction of interspecies. What is so hard to understand about that in a world where coexist weinerdogs and great danes? Never mind.

Refer to my previous post, guys. Speaking nonsense does absolutely nothing to further your cause.

Ann Coulter evolved from Fabio.

Also, we don't need another pseudoscience babble-fest from folks who don't understand basic science or biology due to their socialization into tribal mythologies.

One can be religious and believe in a divine creation of the universe without the drivel. More sophisticated religious scholars in the Jewish and Christian traditions have argued this for several thousand years. Whenever, the literal drivel comes to the fore, that civilization usually fails.

We can trace the evolution of the visual system quite well. Ann might be a lawyer but I'm trained in visual neuroscience and she doesn't know crap.

I'm astounded that this thread made it 2 pages without a padlock.
I'm also astounded that anybody who doesn't believe in evolution could take the threat of 'Bird Flu' seriously.
