Finally got an M44!

$190, in stock, at Wideners (non-matching #'s), and $290 at SOG, matching.

The ones from Widener's are in fairly rough shape, and you've got to count shipping and FFL costs for the SOG guns so the price would be closer to $340.

I got this one for $220, and it's all matching in mint condition. Try beating that, I dare ya.

Slightly off topic, but I recently picked up this very-well done 91/30 hex Mosin that was chopped and professionally tuned and a turned bolt, crisp trigger. Set me back 2 Benjamins.

Have yet to shoot it, but it's sure sweet.

Have another 91/30 hex that was cut down and put in a camo synthetic stock, also got it for a song.

Ahhh....another purist...
Not every rifle is collectible, just because it's old, or military...
31,000,000 of them made.

Tastefully done, not a "Bubba" job in the least.

Hope she shoots.

Ugh... Bubba be gone.

No offense, but that is a ruined rifle IMHO.
I didn't do it, but I very much like it. Its much handier than the 9130. Of which i hsve several. The 9130s are extremely common, still under $200. Twns of millions out there.

Yeah, I agree.

That's actually a decent, non-Bubba-ed rendering of an M91/30 into what appears to be a handy, usable "sporter." I've seen a lot worse.

Good! I don't but these guns vecause they're worth a ton of movie or that they'll appreciate, I but them for the history, so if they were worth less that would be a plus for me!!
