I think I'm geared up just fine now.

I've got a good piece of thick carpet for a shooting mat,,,
As well as a nice chair for sitting comfort,,,
And a new Thermos for hot drinks.

Heck, I might even spring for a new set of Carhartts. ;)

I am my own Santa Claus,,,
So for my Christmas present this year,,,
I bought the Tech Sights for my Mossberg 702 Plinkster,,,
As well as the cotton GI M1 sling and four spare magazines for it.

I zeroed the sights off of a rest,,,
And can hold a dime sized group at 25 yards,,,
Now if I can get anywhere close to the same results off-hand I'll be happy.

I'm still working on sling mounts for the NEOS carbine,,,
If I want to drill holes in the stock,,,
It will be no problem at all,,,
But I'd rather not do that.

The website says to bring a spare rifle if possible,,,
So I took that as an omen to gear up my little Mossberg import,,,
I would like to use the NEOS carbine so the Plinkster will be the back-up rifle.

I'm finding it a bit humorous,,,
Just how much I'm anticipating this event,,,
I just think it will be a blast and am eager to attend.
