I called Dawson and the guy on the phone told me how to figure the height I need but not how to figure the width. How do I tell how wide and whether I should get wide ramped serrated or wide partridge serrated. It's a SA Loaded Target 9mm 1911
 
Sight width is a matter of personal preference.
Many shooters are going to blades narrower than the usual .125".
I like .110" but they are selling a lot of .100" sights.
Ramp vs Patridge doesn't matter much with a FO insert unless your holster needs the ramp.
