Nikita Khrushchev predicted confidently in a speech in Bucharest, Rumania on June 19, 1962 that: " The United States will eventually fly the Communist Red Flag...the American people will hoist it themselves."

thank you but tianamen square means allot to me.
i was sitting there watching my wonderful world of disney when suddenly they were showing people getting killed.
that kind of thing tends to f--- one up.
i use a typewriter all the time, it gives me a better feel for writing fiction.
mork was from ork.
i still love the pac-man and donkey kong games, wish i could get them for the comp or the nintendo 64.
i have heard all of those.
we used to have a 13 channel no remote tv.

i know what smurfs are.
i remember the mcdonalds styrofoam containers
i know who j.r. is, and it was all a dream.
and a few other things it might suprise you to know i know/remember.
and i am 14.
so see, the dumb one will acheive mediocrity like they are supposed to and people like me shall rise to the top. :)

while u are burying your head in the sand i will be out doing something about the problem, excuse me if i tramp upon your skull.

Glad to hear it Guerilla1138. There is no doubt in my mind you will be a success, that was more a knock at N'Sync types. However, If you do listen to N'Sync you can be guaranteed a lifetime of managing fastfood Restaurants and/or selling women's shoes (remember Al Bundy?)!

OK, whoever compiled this list of BS has about as much brain as god gave a crow-bar. I was born in "82 and I know or remember about half of this crap. I'll put a * next to all the ones that are right, and a comment next to the wrong ones. here goes..

McDonalds never came in Styrofoam containers."they used styrofoam on the big-mac until like '92 or 93. I was well familiar with Mcdonalds by then"

There has always been MTV."dont get cable"

They don't have a clue how to use a typewriter.*

Most of these are assuming that these are the kids who are going to harvard, and as soon as a new technology came out, went out and bought it for their spoiled little brat kids. These were expensive, and some of this junk we still don't have. We had cable for a while, but noiw that we're back in AK we don't watch TV, we're hardly ever home. Who needs an answering machine? I like missing calls. :) These people need to recheck their references.

Good to know that you know your stuff, but there are plenty of kids your age that don't, like I was talking about the A-Team and Airwolf with some of the high school kids that work with at my church and they had no idea what I was talking about. My friends brother doesn't know who Mr. T is.

The hostaged in Iran happened before you were born, I think the hostage we are talking about are the ones who were released when Reagan took office.

MTAA
There is nothing wrong with Al Bundy. Although N Stink , the backdoor boys et al suck.

What the hell happened Chink ? When "New Kids Up the Butt" came out no one took that crap seriously.

Wow, no Mr. T, that must of sucked. But hey, they got "Barney","Power Rangers", and Pokemon  We only had "He-Man", "G.I. JOE" "MASK", and "Transformers". I think I am beginning to see the N'Sync connection here...
